ok bloggers...just wanted to let y'all know i might be slightly more absent than usual on account of my laptop falling to pieces. if i can handle typing on it without any more keys falling off or tearing my hair out in frustration...i'll be back.
p.s. hot sugary coffee + keyboard = baaaad match (in my defense...it was only an eensy bit, and when i gently pried up the few keys to clean it, who knew it would kill my keyboard forever.) i'm contemplating a new one...instead of buying a replacement keyboard for a tres old laptop that would end up needing replaced in a year anyway.

Yikes. I'm sorry for your laptop dying on you! I'm not too careful with drinks around dear ol' Delilah so I will try to be from now on. Good luck deciding on a replacement or not!
ReplyDeleteThis reminds me of the time when I had a glass of wine I was about to start drinking, I was sober. I was working on my laptop, I thought to myself I'd best move that wine in case it spills on laptop. I moved the wine away and then moments later it got knocked and spilt on my laptop! Only a tiny bit but it was the death of the keyboard! How unlucky is that when I had moved it to be careful. I got it fixed cos it was just over a year old. But if yours is pretty old and u get it fixed something else could break pretty soon. I'd say get a new one if you can afford it. Hope you get it sorted soon
